Fall 2020 Update: Fully Remote Classes - Experiencing zoom fatigue? Interested in virtual reality? Come build the learning experience of the future. Students will work with peers from MIT, The Berklee College of Music, and Harvard University to develop Virtual Reality experiences using the Oculus Quest. Not only is this a class about VR, it’s taught in VR. Admitted students will be sent an Oculus Quest headset. Students will form teams with classmates from the three universities, and will combine diverse skills to develop projects using Unity. Enrollment will be capped at 6 students from each university. Given the experimental nature of this class, students will have significant leeway to customize their own learning environment while gaining insights on learning theories and technology’s role therein.
