Professor of Mechanical Engineering; MacVicar Faculty Fellow
2.009 is a rigorous capstone class for undergraduates in the Mechanical Engineering program at MIT, bringing together everything students have learned along the way to develop a market-ready product together with a team of classmates.
During the fall semester of 2015, the students of 2.009 spent three months designing, building, and testing innovative products around an “adventure” theme and turning them into real products.
Watch undergraduate students in MechE describe the experience of taking the iconic MIT design class 2.009: Product Engineering Processes, taught by the award-winning and fun-loving Professor David Wallace.
